Bamboo clothing featured in national geographic magazine:
A. R. Williams writes in this month''s national geographic magazine about the growth in the bamboo fabric market, from "about 1 million tons in 2004 to ten times that by 2006" it would seem that the "upstart" as Williams calls bamboo fabric may someday compete with cotton.
The national geographic store also features products made with bamboo fibre including: socks, ladies v-neck top and a rather nice tie-dyed tank. With big names like National geographic and Gucci investing in bamboo fibre products growth is sure to continue.
